You see that and the arsenal red and realise how arbitrary decisions can be.
That's not even a challenge! It's an assault! thank god he was alright.

      Yeah that’s a straight red.

Well that sets up the remainder of the weekend nicely anyway.

Thinking I will get a sneaky little takeaway instead of cooking for myself this evening. On my own this weekend and arsed if I am going out anywhere later on in the rain.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I've seen them both now and yes, PMGOL or whoever needs to explain this.

After being 3 goal difference better at half time I was really hoping for more. Ended on the same GD.

              That's a very negative outlook.

                Agreed.

Our GD is +10 on Arsenal currently.

                  Are you ever positive Bob
I missed the point he came on as stream died. Just think he could be utilised more and see no reason to not rest mo, especially when a game is won. Saving his legs for future battles.

Sloppy was for the goal conceded, not the performance.

3 more points. Bournemouth is going to be tricky.

Yeah same, my stream was shut for the last 30 mins, so I think Chiesa actually only got about 5 mins - wonder if he will start mid week.

Overall we won the game early, we rested Macca and Grav and that ultimately probably cost us from scoring a couple of additional goals as we lost a bit of rythm- it was a commanding win.

These are glorious times imo. We look incredibly solid and I don’t see many teams taking points from us. The game in hand looks pivotal.

Next weekend also massive Bournemouth are good but we can beat them and the style they play suits us. Then City Arsenal… the potential for a decent point swing if we play well.

Question about the incident when the Ipswich player got injury fouling Gakpo, would there not have been more of an advantage with the free kick in such a dangerous position rather than just keeping possession? I get it if that happens in deeper positions but a free kick there is a goal scoring opportunity and they’ve taken away that opportunity.

A little bit negative, but from a performance perspective I'm overjoyed and a bit relieved. In the past few games we just weren't clicking in the final third. Too many over hit or under hit passes or wrong decisions. Salah was close but always missing the target. This practice match today has helped everyone reset.

Just in the nick of time with Bournemouth coming up. On form we should be way too much for them to handle even with their own good form.

Yeah I watched 2 A League matches yesterday & on a few occasions in both matches the ref allowed play to go several seconds & when there was no advantage he brought it back for the free kick. It seemed longer than usual so wondered at the time if our referees had been told of new guidelines.

Just watching the MOTD highlights and I don’t think the Ipswich goal should have stood - they had a player in an offside position completely blocking Ali’s line of sight.

Also, how was this not a red card? Endo was right in front of him, its not like he couldn’t see he was going to chest the ball

I thought the same about obstructing his view in an offside position, but Tierney VAR.
