This. If we pick up the pace and press harder, especially if we get more second balls, this is a different game.
    Really?

This half has highlighted how desperately we need two new fullbacks, that lack of pace just kills at the highest levels.

we have been stronger in the 2nd half in most games this season. We need to up our work rate and hopefully their intensity dies off. We do need some sustained possession though.

We need something different, otherwise it'll be more of the same. Get Nunez and Jones on and hope for the best

Said it a few days ago regarding this game that they are now a team unit rather than a group of guys having to support a few big names.

But still think they will run themselves into the ground and come undone in the second half.

Playing as well as they did and getting nothing for it, not to mention a few VAR decisions going against them, might cause a few doubts to creep in that it will not be their night.

They are used to teams crumbling when they put this kind of pressure on them. We, on the other hand, know how to to come back from being a distant second best in the first half of games. We have done it a number of times this season and might be feeling we can do it again tonight.

How is it not a red? Because he didn't push him with his hands?

I would be fuming if that was against us.

Feel like we missed a trick not going after Kvaratskhelia.

Really annoying to lose out on Kvaratskhelia. He would have fit us like a glove.

Why didn't we try and sign that Georgian lad? He was ****ing brilliant at napoli. Perfect salah replacement. 60m, peanuts.

Ibou is carrying a yellow in the comp, another one tonight and he's suspended for the home leg.

By all accounts, we did. Missus was set on Paris.

I do think we were in for him but he preferred Paris.

Paris is a lovely city tbf if that’s what it came down to.
