I'll engage for a second. You're an obsessive fantasist. If you actually read the thread there's no way you could accuse me of singling him out, it didn't happen. You saw one mild comment about Nunez and it triggered your whole internet psycho thing. This is a you problem and has nothing to do with your fandom, that's a poor excuse for your inability to control your emotions and you should work on that.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Agree, I think we all wanted and expected a bit more from him.Originally posted by Tatterdemalion View PostYeh. After high hopes last season, Quansah has had a stinker of a season.
Even when he’s playing okay he just seems to have a knack of being unlucky. There was the Brighton cup game earlier this season where he played well and then scored a really unlucky own goal (if memory serves correctly) and there have been other similar circumstances this year too - another own goal I think.
Looks like he might be a confidence player too and this season couldn’t have been good for that. A loan might be useful but if someone fancies him at £30m+ then we have to take it.
My worry is we already need another CB and probably two if the Konate situation isn’t resolved soon.

You obsessively single him out everything he is on the pitch, end of story!Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI'll engage for a second. You're an obsessive fantasist. It's his half arsed clearances to the opposition that frustrate most. I thought he was pretty good last night, his positioning was streets ahead of Konate. The main problem we have is that they both seem to rely on playing next to VVD to shine and neither is good enough to take over Virgil's role. God knows who is, but you'd hope Ibou could make a better stab at it.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

If Konate does want £200k per week then he needs to step up in these sort of games. At this rate we’re going to be hoping for another Virg contract extension in 2027.

Our opinions hold zero weight with the club's selection or transfer process so why so much vitriol?
Just enjoy that we're champions and that we're about to witness the first Dutch manager to win the league, first Dutch captian to lift the trophy, AND the first team in Liverpool's history to score in EVERY away match!

I feel Quansah would probably benefit from a season out on loan at another PL club, problem is we are rather short handed as it is.Originally posted by Lee View PostAgree, I think we all wanted and expected a bit more from him.

It's understandable that Quansah relies on his more senior partner to help him out given his age. You would hope that Konate though is capable of leading a defence now though. He does still have some dodgy moments and is rather reliant on pace to get him out of trouble.

Yeah but if we brought him back, then VVD would suffer by comparison. Might be too damaging to Virgil's confidence to have the spawn of you and Charly in the team.
Better to let the captain be a small fish in a big pond than bringing in a great white to swin alongside him.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
