I really hope not, but youre probably right. Think it’s important we have an English and Scouse core long term, and hopefully we have some academy players integrated this season to help with that

Makes you think, hard for any manager to win a premier league but even more impressive Klopp did it with a British core in hendo, Trent, robbo, Gomez, Milner…sturridge too.

Bradley will play his fair share of games.

That’s got me wondering where he’ll play as judging by that he’d replace Gakpo or Diaz on the left of the front three.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Or in the middle as a false 9

I didn’t think so but I’m leaning more towards that could be the plan, certainly in some games. It will be interesting to see if we buy a striker or wide forward when Nunez goes

I'd be very surprised if we bought him to play LW. He could obviously do a job there, but surely we're playing him centrally?

He did discuss him in the midfield 3, but then discounted it and suggested left sided 10 (not LW) and false 9 as more likely options.

We won’t be playing with wingers though, Frimpong and Kirkez will provide the width. Maybe Slot will deploy a fluid front 3 of Diaz/Gakpo, Wirtz and Mo

Aye, he said playing 433 rules him out of playing in midfield 3. I disagree.

It means making a big sacrifice for our off the ball shape though and breaking up what was arguably our strongest unit last season. Perhaps for some games though, depending on the opposition.

Left sided 10 (with Kerkez providing the width) allows Wirtz to operate in the same part of the pitch as he does for Leverkusen and Germany.
