I mean the team is so dysfunctional it’s kind of hard to judge anyone right now.

Players who were so consistent last season, and for many seasons before, look way below average this season.

It’s difficult for him to come in and take over and be the creative spark when the team moves the ball so slowly and the movement off the ball is limited.

I must be one of the few that has been disappointed with Wirtz performances overall. Clearly had bags of talent but imo needs to show way more and hopefully will under a new manager.

Yeah I'm not saying replace someone for him. I'm saying if he had him if he got that sort of performance out of coutinho imagine what he'd do with wirtz.

Yeah, that team was not built to accommodate a Wirtz in MF.

The coutinho team would have been different, but we had... Coutinho.. who would be hard to shift. He was so awesome those last few months.

Imo he would have been polar opposite to everything that side was, a team of physical beasts that operated at a 100 miles per hour. It was the most exciting team to watch that I've ever seen.

It would but not as much as dropping any of prime, Salah, Mane and Firmino

I've seen a lot of comparisons with De Bruyne but I always associate him closer with David Silva. The close control, stature, incisive passing - really hope he turns out as good as him, he's got the potential to match and surpass him
