This summer is going to be massive, likely need a 6, 2 wingers, a CM and a backup striker/forward.

I just don't see where the goals come from for the rest of the season, Isak can maybe play 45mins a game, but has yet to show much in an LFC shirt due to injuries, Ekitike is out, Salah is off form, Gakpo has been off form all season, Rio is 17 it's not fair to depend on him. Chiesa is a moments player. Wirtz had a bit of a flurry before his injury but hasn't looked much of a threat since coming back. Aside from Szoboszlai there aren't really goals from midfield.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The whole squad look absolutely knackered and have done all season, yet they are doing less running than they were under Klopp, performance levels have also been way down for many players and while fitness is not the sole reason it is presumably a factor.

Bradley went down after over stretching with no one near him, Isak's was a bad challenge, Endo got his boot caught in the ground and his leg caught under him but the others IIRC.

Luck plays a part but I don't think that explains it all
That’s the thing - this periodisation reduces training load so the players are not PL level fit - our guys look knackered after 70 mins. It’s also affecting guys who missed the pre season like Mac as they cannot catch up mid season

We are so ****ed. We need a new manager, a new way of playing football, a new midfield, three attackers (including salah's replacement, and ideally Gakpo's), a new CB or two, a new left back, a new right back, probably another goalkeeper. Essentially, we've turned a title winning team into a total rebuild job and spent an unprecedented fortune to get here. We're in the territory of needing a magic manager who makes everything and everyone suddenly click, or we are going to be also rans for quite some time. Madness.
Still, good news about the chocolate orange.

Was pretty obvious its an achilles just from the footage. All the scans telling you is the severity of the tear.

That’s probably his career ****ed. As a pacey forward he won’t achieve the same level now. Heartbreaking

And frankly it’s because he’s been overplayed like so many of our players. Squad management and conditioning has been ****.

He has had 21 starts in the PL and 7 sub appearances

1 start in the FA cup and two sub appearances

11 starts in the CL and 1 sub appearance.

1 sub appearance in the league cup.

1 start in the community shield.

So 34 starts in all comps. Hardly overplayed. He also played minutes in 2 games for France since joining us.

In terms of minutes played, he has played 2,872 mins for us in all comps.

Last season he played in 3,644 mins for Frankfurt and also played in 6 games for France.

The injury he got on Tuesday, reported as an Achilles tendon rupture, is one athletes in great shape and with the best of conditioning can get and do get.

Is more likely that it was caused by a freak bit of pressure when turning or putting weight on that side. It can be caused by training too of course, but in that case it would be more likely to happen when the training is of a high intensity.

My guess, without knowing if the player has any underlying chronic condition with regards to his calf muscles, is that it was just bad luck. He turns in the other direction or puts weight on the same side in a different way and it may not have happened and his calf muscles may have warmed up more as the game went on.

He's young enough to get back to the same level, but pace was an asset and it'll be interesting if he can regain that - fingers crossed. I had my doubts if he was ever good enough for us before the injury anyway.

Hopefully its not a complete rupture.

With it being confirmed as a complete rupture it's going to be a long way back for him. What a disaster of a season injury wise.

Yeah he definitely hasnt been overplayed ffs. I was giving out that the prick couldn't complete 90 mins for the first half.of the season

We will be back!!! 2 or 3 players and a return to form for another few and we are there again

Loads of players were slipping cos of the conditions that night, so I wonder if the slippery surface had more to do with it?
