Said the exact same thing to the other half. He even runs the same.

Plus, even at the peak of his availability, Isak only gives you 3000 mins tops.

You need a top quality alternative for him.

That was exactly what I thought.

Just the way he took that ball into his stride, knocked it past the defenders, steadied his run and just calmly slotted it was pure Torres

        Glorious to see

You can tell a lot about a striker by how they look when through 1v1 with the keeper. Hugo looked very comfortable. Very natural. I think that instinctive timing is something you can’t teach. Rush had it, as did Robbie, Torres, also Aldo. Hugo has it.

I love the way he strokes the ball home. Very measured.

Good finisher but ****ing hell the bloke doesn't exactly hold the ball up well. It didn't stick all night.

I'll add lazy ****er as well. Pure luxury player. In a team doing well, I'm sure he'll flourish but when you want the ball to stick and someone to run the channels and press, he's the anti nunez. Better finisher but half arsed effort. Great.

Nice goal last night. Not bad for your first for your country!

I think our set up for the last few years has made it a very tough shift for whom ever plays CF. We’ve historically been set up to create openings for our wingers - which means the expectation and involvement for the CF is challenging. Since Firmino left we’ve not really had any one player solidly stake a claim for a shirt and maximise the position.

Tactically it is something we need to resolve.
