I've not been keen on bringing him in to a rather dysfunctional team, I would rather be bringing him on for the last 20 mins in games we are 3 or so goals up and cruising in, but that doesn't look like happening anytime soon

His cameo was impressive and probably looked more likely than anyone else to create something in his time on the pitch, I don't think he's ready to start but I would be looking to give him 20-30mins or so.

I have said this before but I think Chiesa does his best work in the middle of the goal, while Isak is injured I would be using him as CF when Ekitike needs to be taken off. For me he (Chiesa) can't really do much in the wide roles where we have been trying to play him in the last couple of games.

Give him minutes. He looked lively in the 10 mins or so he was on. Has that unpredictability that we sorely miss. Be good to see him, Wirtz and Ekitike linking up. I’d have him on ahead of Chiesa.

He'll get his chance in the coming seasons, as it stands he's too far off it physically. Early days for this one.

He's just turned 17 give the kid a break, ideally want to bring him through into a strong side playing with confidence, not a weakened side lacking in confidence playing against better opposition side.

It seemed clear last night that he isn’t ready to start against senior opposition. Train with the first team, get a few minutes off the bench for experience but starts have to wait until he has filled out a bit. Palace doubled-up on him, showed him inside then basically shoved him off the ball.

I read somewhere yesterday that the bonuses that would accrue from a successful season might well push his salary up beyond 1m quid for the year
