At 17 the max contract is 3 years and we have a salary cap. I expect he’ll sign a bumper 5 year contract when he hits 18

He's already left one circus, it's unlikely he'll want to join another. He seems a level headed, well advised young player that I'm sure feels totally vindicated with his decision to join us.
He's on course to be an absolute superstar, playing for arguably the best club in the world right now, why jeopardise that?

Personally, I'd like to see us try to develop him as a right winger, capable for covering for Mo, much like Mane was. I don't see why it wouldn't work, on the left he seems just as capable going on the outside as well as cutting in. When Mo goes, get Olise in and have Rio fighting him and Gakpo for both positions.

He’s got the right players around him to help him develop on and off the pitch.
It's good advice, but asking a kid these days to leave social media alone is like asking them to leave the world. Not sure it will happen, but social media is a cesspool of exaggerated echo chamber BS, that's for sure.
