Don't know you've got this take. We've got some new players to bring up to speed and then we're ready for lift off.

Winning PL isn't a given but by end of the window the team will be stronger.

I would agree we are a couple of players light - 2 at least, perhaps 3. We desperately need a senior CB and another forward. And then everyone needs to be assimilated. But having said that I think all the players we have brought in make the squad stronger. Frimpong you might argue not, but he just has a different style of play to TAA and I think that will reinvigorate our RHS.

That team had some key gaps. Our biggest miss will be Diaz. I won't mention Jota because of the circumstances.

Nunez needed to go. Trent still can't defend and just didn't want to be here. Left Back needed an upgrade snd ot happened. Creativity was needed oit of midfield and that happened.

Salah is not pacey anymore and cant dribbler past his man. Gakpo is a 'good player', but not dynamic, that's why I'm concerned with Diaz going.
Frimpong has looked good defensively so far.

For me the only issue I saw today was players getting used to each other and the system Slot wants to play. He’s already suggested tweaks as teams got used to us in the second half of last season. But with the serious stuff coming up I fully expect them to come out firing on Friday.

A bit of patience. We looked slick going forward and the potential is clearly there. Elitike and Wirtz looks so promising.
