Eh? Carragher said it was blatantly the wrong decision when it happened. Multiple replays were shown as he expressed his disbelief at the decision.

Then at half time he called out PGMOL's statement on it, by saying that it was completely at odds with the reasoning he heard from the VAR communications during the game.

Mental first game of the season! Scary at times at the back but we were massively brave to go for it and it paid dividends in the end.

Disappointed to see Semenyo racially abused, that's disgusting tbh and our fanbase will be in for pelters now.

So sad seeing the impact Jota's death has had on Salah, emotional scenes at the end there but so proud of the fans and club for the support for Jota and the tributes paid.
