We were 10 points clear in december and lost it. Not saying we have a hope, but I'm hoping arsenal lose it to someone else.

Well, by losing it you mean we lost one game all season, drew a couple in Jan/Feb, won the last 9 games and ended up with 97 pointsOriginally posted by vlahka View PostWe were 10 points clear in december and lost it. Not saying we have a hope, but I'm hoping arsenal lose it to someone else.
There's no one this season who will likely push Arsenal near 90 points, let alone 95+
In reality, they need to come back to the field with the winner ending up with a mid 80s points total for us to have a shot

Depends on who that someone else is for me.
If it is a choice between a club spending/existing on it's own means like Arsenal or a financially doped club like Man City or Chelsea, then I would prefer Arsenal.
I might not be able to stand Arteta as a manager and do not like the cynical way he has Arsenal playing, but for me they are still a proper club.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Yeah I'm not following that line of thought anymore. I dont care if the team buys the prem. What I care about is a **** team like arsenal who constantly think they're the best team ever created, whos fans constantly sing about us like we're they're only rivals, steal our songs, and have such a ****** of a manager. I'd like them to go the way of UTD and never win anything for as long as possible.

That pretty much describes the Red Mancs, Blue Mancs, Newcastle, Forest, Everton and about six or seven other teams in the division to be fair.
The more teams like City and Chelsea win, the more the media tries to legitimize them and ignore the financial doping.
Arsenal win the title, then like it or not they will do so on merit. City/Chelsea win it, then as much as the players on the pitch did the playing, the behind the scenes money fiddling stuff over years and years is what build the foundation all their wins are built upon.
I get people might argue that title wins by the dopers are worthless because of how they got to where they are, but for me their league wins devalue the totle a bit ever time they win one.
Hence me preferring a proper team winning the title and giving the title some of it's old value.
You can dislike a proper team but still respect them winning a title, I just cannot do the same with the financial dopers.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
