    2025/26 Season

When was the last time we started the season as favourites?

This is the season of the elite number 9:

    City have Haaland
    Arsenal have Gyokeres
    We have Isak
    Chelsea have Delap
    United have Sesko

    Strikers are back baby

Also I cannot wait to unleash Wirtz on the Premier League today. I think he has gone strangely slightly under the radar for a record breaking signing. Not with LFC fans but elsewhere. Not seen many "pundits" pick him out for player of the season etc.

We've only seen a little bit of what he is capable of yet but I think we are looking at a De Bruyne level talent here.

Legit nearly said 15 minutes but changed it to first half to not look silly

I hope that’s a turning point for Chiesa - we could really use him as we’ve lost all our attacking bench strength

I heard they want to change the name of the Club to AFC Everton. Pre season would be the only time they are 1st on the ladder
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

They'd need Bournemouth to be relegated first.

Ok what about AAFC Everton, as in All Assholes Football Club

Their season highlights DVD’s are the shortest ever made, a blank disc

So far this season Liverpool have FOUR different PL goal scorers on the sheet.
                            One tit for another.

                              Going in early.

                              We are retaining the title.

We have started the season like we did last season imo.

Little bit disjointed, obvious signs of settling in and the exact same collective attitude to adversity. So fully expecting to be grinding out a number of games in the opening third of the season, with maybe a loss thrown in, and then hitting our stride from Novermber/December on.

Think the way we were trying to cause over loads inside Bouremouth's box is something, that whilst it will leave us open to the odd fast counter, is going to see a number of teams get right pastings from us.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
