Nah, Trent has been missing games too recently, his calf seems to be a problem?

Anyway, for a number reasons, I'd not consider a return.

Really looking forward to him coming back, I reckon Anfield will be bouncing, even if he's on the bench.
    * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Probably in the minority, but I'd jump at the opportunity. I absolutely love Bradley, but am really concerned about his ability to stay fit.
This is a big season for Bradley, in terms of proving his durability. He's still only 21 (right?) so likely still physically developing, but it is concerning how many niggly injuries he seems to get, and how long his recovery is

Yeah his durability is something that needs to be assessed alright.

He is 22. He and Wirtz both turned that age within a couple months of one another this summer.

Bradley has 113 senior club games to his name (including 53 at Bolton which were mostly in league One) whereas Wirtz is already at 200 senior club games with all of them being at Bundesliga/CL/PL level clubs.

I know every player is different and so on, but with the exception of one bad injury in 2022. Wirtz does not pick up a lot of niggly injuries and when he does he tends to return quickly and stay returned. He tends to be more a miss 1 game and then return type guy in recent seasons.

Bradley on the other hand seems to get a lot of small injuries and then gets more quickly after returning. Seems to have two of three of them every season that see him miss being available for selection for maybe 6 to 10 games each time.

Just looking at both of them from 2023/24 (from when Bradley really broke into our first team to this season.

Wirtz has missed 10 games (48 days in total) for club and country in all comps.

Bradley has missed 51 ( 258 days in total) for club and country (mostly for club) in the same time.

Main reason I am comparing them is down to them being so close in age, but Wirtz has shown he is fairly durable at a high level already.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Well, that's a much convincing, data-led argument than my 2 liner

If he doesn't prove his durability this season, I think we will need to find another right back next summer, unfortunately

Bloody hell. Isn't that what the close season is for?

Wasnt Gerrard injury prones at this sort of age? I wouldnt write him off just yet, but it is a major bummer.

At the same age (and easy to compare games totals vs age as both are born in May) Gerrard was on his third season as more or less a full starter (not including his first season of getting a small number of games) and was racking up between 31 and 50 games in all comps in each of those seasons.

                    What a ****ing season… ALREADY

3 absolutely massive moments in the first three games.

                    Chiesa’s goal v Bournemouth - Scenes
                    Ngumoha’s goal v Newcastle - Scenes
Doms worldy v Arsenal - Scenes

It’s been a tough start to the season but there we are sat on top with 9 points and loads of improvements ahead of us. We’ve only really played well in fits and bursts in maybe 2 of the games. We’ve also rammed a massive element of self doubt into Arsenal and City still look disjointed…

                    I’m enthused.

Didn’t Jurgen say something about whether you win or lose it’s about enjoying the journey? Hopefully this journey leads to a title but either way I’m enjoying it.

It's hard not to be a bit excited about what this team will become. We have a world class player finding his feet, a potential world class player in the making on the wing, and a world class striker hopefully on his way in the next day or two.

We've not played that well so far but we have maximum points and our rivals don't

                          28/1 home v Qarabag

We have Everton (home) and Brentford (away) as Saturday 12.30’s after Athletico (home) and Frankfurt (away) which is not ideal but could be worse.

Brentford moved to 8pm because we are away on the Wed night, but I think it's a brutal run of fixtures for us, with so many challenges.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
