I don’t think so- 2 good options for each position:

    Gakpo/Rio on the left
    Isak/Ekitike in the middle
    Salah/Chiesa on the right.

The likes of gakpo/chiesa/Ekiteke can cover other positions in the front 3.

Also the likes of Wirtz/Sobbo/Frimpong can step into the front 3 in an emergency.

If we had any more attackers, I think we’d have to worry about players not being happy with the amount of opportunities they would get.
    I don't tip

Liverpool are now favourites for the FA Cup, League Cup, Premier League and Champions League.

PSG had been favourites for the CL.

Thank god the window's shut, that was insane. Let's go and win some football games now

Glad that’s over, our investment in the squad after the 19/20 win and over the last few years has been a big oversight, even the midfield rebuild was overdue, hopefully this corrects the lack of investment and will allow time to replace Salah, VDV plus another defender in a controlled manner. Over to Arne and team

I saw the talk in the Salah thread about the changes to be less reliant on Mo and saw this stat for the season so far.

Liverpool's 8 league goals this season have been scored by 7 players (Ekitike, Gakpo, Chiesa, Salah, Grav, Ngumoha, Szobo) - the joint-most scorers ever in the club's first 3 matches of a top-flight season, along with 1993-94 (Clough, Rush, Nicol, Ruddock, McManaman, Whelan, Marsh).

The issue for me is that so far Chiesa and Rio (at present) aren't considered starting options, i.e. if you are talking about PL/CL games under normal circumstances (putting strongest team out) you don't expect either of them to start, so effectively you have 4 starting options and 2 subs. Last season we had 5 starting options and Chiesa. At the moment to me it feels like we are one forward down, maybe that changes as we go further into the season, but if the ACN was tomorrow our front three would be Gakpo, Ekitike and Isak, no question
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I’m not quite so convinced. It could just as easily be Gakpo, Isak and Frimpong.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

Yep I agree we are one down in terms of numbers, but would need to move Chiesa on first

There are tons of bars that show it in Japan, just get in early as they are usually packed out no matter the time

I don't think that season ended so well. I mean weren't Rush, Nicol and Whelan using zimmer frames at the time?
EDIT : I believe they were all 33, or knocking on it, at the time.

                        Really?

Looking at the training photos there and seen Frimpong and Bajcetic on the pitch. Bradley obviously played for NI and Gomez was back for Arsenal.

Does thar mean we have a fully fit squad or am I missing someone who was/is injured?

Obviously not everyone is match fit, but it's an amazing position to be in, with 9 points already on the board.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think Mac Allister is still struggling tbh, but yeah otherwise I think you're correct. Slot is good at managing fitness, was at Feyenoord too.

On that topic, we now have game twice a week until the next break so Slot will have opportunities to give players minutes, reckon he'll start managing them at Southampton and Galatasary, brutal end to these games btw.

Not playing in September until the 14th and having 6 games is absolute crackers.
