I have painful memories of the season with Houllier where we got off to a flyer - think we had a 5pt lead at the end of October. Pretty sure that season everyone was saying we were winning games without being at our best, the sign of champions etc

We then went on a two month winless run. 2002-03?

Will be tough but that's what champs do.

A point will be good but expect us to get the 3.

They're unbeaten in 17 games or something like that - that's some record to knock over this weekend

Palace away is more than tricky, that's a genuine challenge. Glasner is clearly a top coach. We have our work cut out for us with this game. I think this will be our first dropped points of the season.

We were the only team from the 6 CL teams to get a win this weekend.

I agree. May as well save time and hand us the title now.

Looking at the table it’s hard to see anyone apart from Arsenal who could challenge and they have their issues with how they approach games. City could get their game back on track but currently don’t look like it. There will always be a team or two that surprise everyone and go on a run for a while like Forest last season then drop off.

If the team can keep improving and keep building momentum and building that winning mentality no matter how they play while picking up points it’s hard not to think they can win it like last season. We’ve already seen a steady improvement from game to game and it feels like it’s a matter of time until it all clicks together.

Yet another tough game with Palace away next. They are doing really well. Another last minute winner then.
