Will be interesting to see how he gets on and how Arne tweaks the line up with him back.

I still think he has the potential to become a turkey signing. But hope I am totally wrong

His legs have an uncanny resemblance to that of a turkey.

Has he been shown in any training coverage at all? If he is to come back towards the end of this month, you'd think he'd be doing ball work by now, if not the odd session with the group.

He is back jogging/running and using exercise machines but not up to the level of training with a ball yet afaik.

Think the last update on him was for a possible return in April but unsure if that April return would be when they hope he can go back to full training or when they think he might be ready for the bench.

I suspect it may only be a return to full training in April and maybe be up to a run out or two in games in late April or earlyMay

Thanks. Might as well effectively write him off for this season. That is a blow. I was hoping he could take some of the burden off of Ekitike, especially as he always looks gassed after about 65 minutes.

Think if we get any minutes out of him towards the end of the season it should just be seen as further fitness getting for him.

He has effectively lost an entire season and will need the pre season to get to know his teammates from an on pitch POV.

Mad to think that come the start of next season he will be almost a year with the club and still at the stage where he will be learning his teammates runs etc and the same for them with him.

The only positive is he and his family will have had a year to settle into the area/city etc

Cunt is going to tear the league a new one next year.

I keep thinking a 4-2-2-2 or narrow diamond with the width coming from our fullbacks would suit us well. No place for Salah or Gakpo in that setup though.

There is a place for one of them to partner Ekitike up front.....at least until Isak gets back
