There is a place for one of them to partner Ekitike up front.....at least until Isak gets back

What a shame that would be

Think if we get any minutes out of him towards the end of the season it should just be seen as further fitness getting for him.

He has effectively lost an entire season and will need the pre season to get to know his teammates from an on pitch POV.

Mad to think that come the start of next season he will be almost a year with the club and still at the stage where he will be learning his teammates runs etc and the same for them with him.

The only positive is he and his family will have had a year to settle into the area/city etc

He is back jogging/running and using exercise machines but not up to the level of training with a ball yet afaik.

Think the last update on him was for a possible return in April but unsure if that April return would be when they hope he can go back to full training or when they think he might be ready for the bench.

I suspect it may only be a return to full training in April and maybe be up to a run out or two in games in late April or earlyMay

I still think he has the potential to become a turkey signing. But hope I am totally wrong
