    Everton @ home Saturday 20th September 1230pm

Another derby & it’s the first for our new signings so I wonder how many of them Slot starts here. I’d probably lean towards having Wirtz on the bench against these thugs & I’d start Bradley over Frimpong too. Ekitike to start over Isak too
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I think we should keep playing Wirtz for as long as he's got the energy - only way he gets up to speed physically is through playing these games

Only issue is that there's less than 72 hours between the matches, so there probably needs to be a decent amount of rotation

Hopefully we take a break from last minute winners and have a 5-0 lead by half time
      Football without Origi is nothing

We've just had a tough game against very strong opposition and have a very tight turn around.. there has to be some rotation. I do think there's a possibility that Wirtz doesn't start. I can see MacAllister coming in and us playing Dom/Grav/Mac and Etitike coming in for Isak. RB i'm not sure who will play Frimpong vs Bradley, imo maybe Bradley. Everton are always up for this game, they are looking alot better this season, will set up compact & this is their cup final. That leaves us with a more phyiscal and fresher team to start imo & likes of Frimpong, Wirtz & Isak that can come on later int eh game... not too shabby.

Hopefully we are not relying on a last minute winner this time, that we are 3 or 4 up going into injury time, then score another one anyway.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

            Ali
            Frimpong Konate VVD Kirkez
            Macca Grav Dom
            Salah Ekitike Gakpo

Rotating the midfield will be key to having a successful season. Wish there was a player to step in for Grav, but I can see him being overused again. However, early in the season his motor should still be relatively fresh.

Wirtz and Isak on in the second half, to cause mayhem against tired legs.

I would like to see this team. But Slot will continue giving Wirtz game time. So probably Macca on the bench?

I think it’ll be close to Scratch’s suggestion but I’d start Bradley as he’s got a bit of snide about him. Bring Frimpong on against tiring legs

I'd also start Bradley. Mainly because I think he is a better right back than Frimpong.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

I hope they're all wearing proper thick shin pads for this ****fest.

Although shin pads won’t help with tackles like Macca copped last weekend

Bradley in for Frimpong, I think they’ll rotate that position a lot over the season. 50/50 between Kerkez and Robertson. I’m hoping we do see some of Frimpong for Salah late in games too. You’ve seen off Mo then have the pace of Frimpong to deal with.

While Mac Allister needs minutes I’d stick with Gravenberch and Dom and upfront it will likely be Ekitike for Isak. Not bad to have Isak coming on against a tired defence for the last 30 or so. And Wirtz to keep going. I think he’s building up to something big.

Mac Allister and Isak as subs. Not bad to have that quality on the bench. Add in Chiesa and Rio and you have plenty of options that offer different qualities to help off the bench. Rio is showing he’s ready for that role and has made an impact every time he’s come on.

Bradley and Frimpong will probably get 45 each as no doubt Grealish will get a foul every time he goes over, leading to bookings.

Darren England in charge. We've a 20% win ratio with him as ref and he was also on VAR for that Diaz disallowed goal against Spurs.
