For the last decade or so we've always played the kids in the league cup until the semis.

In isolation I'm not arsed about this game. He must know that the narrative is building though, and he's put a whole lot of extra pressure on Saturday. Hope he's worked out what the issue is and has a cunning plan. More cunning than a fox that's just been appointed director of cunning at Oxford University.

Doesn't check out though as none of them can pass the ball when they even get it in space. We're getting out worked, out fought and out passed.

We're massively unfit. Our performances reek of a bad preseason. You only need to be 1 step behind in this league to be chasing shadows and that's what it constantly looks like. We aren't a small side either, so there's no excuses for looking so weak.

Football is cyclical and it’s moving back to 80s style at the moment and we’ve gone full tiki taka!

Think Slot has put a lot of pressure on himself with his line up for the Palace game. The game was thrown with that line up, so now he and all the senior players that were rested have to get a result against Villa.

No excuses for them as they had no mid week game. Anything less than a hard working display that ends in a win will have the players being questioned as much as Slot imo.
