Nothing wrong with Wirtz, he does his job. The refs are bent, that’s the problem.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI'm going to pick on Wirtz a bit here, single him out unfairly, but the guy is a total waste of space in a game this tight. He needs an age to shoot, he makes ridiculous low percentage passes, his pressing is inconsistent and he's physically bullied.

We are tired. City were always going to boss the ball. It's what they do. But Grav gets the ball and keeps turning like an oil tanker and hoping the wrong way, macca holding the ball too long. Those two aren't doing the easy things.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Michael Oliver on VAR. The same thing every time it’s a game with him and City.Originally posted by pondus View PostHow is that a ****ing offside??? ****ing bent the lot of them! Their tactics of forcing the ball to Konate is disrupting the entire flow of the build up of our attack. I fear other teams will use the dame approach. Gomez has to come on for Konate to open up the pitch more for us in the build up.
Konate is also so clumsy it's ridiculous. They were the better team, playing away at Man Citeh is always rough, we've been here before even with Klopp's great teams and still gotten results, but Konate weaknesses is a huge X Factor, plus we don't have that blazing pace, skill and scoring ability from those wide areas anymore.

Salah sitting on the line doesn't help us at all.
If the ball goes to him then it kills any pace of attack while he has a wiggle and then cuts inside.
Ekitike needs to come deeper so he can be played in. Sitting so far up he's unlikely to get a perfect ball played to feet.
Wirtz, can't believe he's so soft.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

If Slot comes out and defends that first half performance, I'm going to have serious concerns about him going forward. That first half was indefensible.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

it's been very effective and it means our worst player in possession seems to be always in possession.
