So disappointed about this - we really needed a win here. We absolutely should be beating teams like this away and never getting defensive about it.
lol, Slot was getting pelters for not closing games out when we were leading and then conceded because we were too attacking.

We can’t say the team was mentally so strong because of Klopp and then not criticise the manager when they completely lose that when there are still so many of the same players in the squad.
It wasn't so much the changes it was the stupid pen that Konate gave away that was the turning point
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Konate takes a huge proportion of the blame for this. Give away a penalty and they were hungry to hunt down the second. If the penalty was not conceded we would hopefully have stayed in control and seen the game out.

True that’s a big part of it. But where has this all come from. This team was mentally so strong and now they can’t see out a game away to Leeds. They’re so weak. There is a lack of leadership at the club right now and no signs of it changing and in the end that does come down to the manger.

He can send on whomever he wants but we have conceded 24 goals in 15 games.

The epicentre of our issues is at the centre of our defence.

Not saying Konate is solely to blame for that but there have been alot of mistakes from him. Need to get him out of the side

The stupid challenge for the pen changed the game, we don't concede that and we probably see the game out at 2-0. That decision got them back into the game, got the crowd up and put doubts in our minds.

I'm not going to blame konate for their first, it was a dive and that would be victim blaming, but the second was awful defending. The third was inevitable because we invited it. Perfectly good passing options and we're booting up field or into touch. Just a really pathetic, defeatist mentality, personified by the captain.

It was soft but when trying to block a cross going in at an angle that can take you into the player means the ref has a decision to make. Naive at best

It really wasn’t a dive. The camera angle from behind the byline clearly shows Konate missing the ball and catching the Leeds players knee before he went out of play

We just don't have any other options.
                      Really?

I’d happily take Endo there now if we were worried about Gomez’s fitness

Fine, don't know what everyone elses' view is, but I don't think we should be getting all defensive when playing Leeds away.
                          Really?

                            He's not tall enough, tho

We need to move heaven and earth to get somebody in ASAP. And it's not just Konate that needs replacing - Virg is on the wane too. I appreciate we addressed CB in the summer with Leoni and the Guehi pursuit, but the big expenditure in other areas that hasn't panned out (yet) makes this predicament all the more infuriating.

It's not even about the players brought in and out, it's about how the team abandoned any attempt to take control of the ball, pass to each other, starve Leeds of possession, take the sting out of the crowd etc. Arses totally went and it was panic stations, hoof it clear, no trust in each other. You could say that's on the players, and maybe so, but why is their confidence shot, because our season has imploded and that's mostly on the manager and the players have lost confidence in him.
