Inter Milan (A) Champions league Tuesday 9th Dec 20:00

Might as well get a thread started for this.

Inter are top of Serie A (but have lost four games in the league along the way) and have been pretty solid in the CL (4 wins and a loss).

They have looked very vunerable and generally have stumbled any time they have played a "top" team though. So hopefully we remember we can be a top team and the Liverpool that turned up against Real Madrid is there to say hello at the San Siro.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Dom should be captain from next season.

Gakpo and Chiesa must have knocks.

What - if so, you can't make it up

Chiesa got added to the CL squad after the Leoni injury right?

I would not be averse to that. Already a national skipper and leads by example.

I'm glad the club higher ups are taking the right steps with regards to Salah, his obvious decline and his own delusion of his current abilities. We haven't taken the knee here and we are all together in the future state of LFC.

I'm OK with where we are headed as I believe we're (still) in good hands. We've beaten Atletico, Real and Frankfurt so far. I'm sure we'll do another big club tomorrow.

I think slot has been poor in his decision making this season, but I am somewhat optimistic that we can at least improve under him. The last three games have been better and we have won some points, and we were a konate away from another 3 Vs Leeds. Get Mo out of the picture, work on the Mo-free set up and see if it beds in. A win tomorrow could give that some momentum. Bizarrely, it feels like the Salah saga might have given the manager a bit of breathing room.

Going to pretty much have to be Wirtz, Isak and Ekitike tomorrow. By default could Arne be forced into playing the strongest/ future front three? Might even have to give Ngumoha some mins.
