Nah, don’t want to get dragged back to the Benteke days.

Good win. Ugly. But we won the war.

      Full time 1-0
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Good win and should have been more than 1-0. Solid defensively. Endo coming in and doing a good job, so unlucky with his injury. Everyone did their jobs.

That was a tough fully deserved win.

Really needed those points. We were just okay. Sunderland showed us far too much respect for their own good.

well 3 required points, but frankly an uninspiring performance. Yes, a lot of possession, but no real chances created. A day at the office.
              Really?

Great performance, great away win, first to beat Sunderland at home this season. Please let this be a springboard.

Not suggesting such a player should be a regular starter and also not suggesting Benteke is a good exemplar. But a big lad who wants to put himself about.

Konate deserved MotM ahead of Virgil.

I thought Macca looked back to his best in the 2nd half.
