Thanks, much appreciated. I guess you were distracted when Wirtz hit the post and forced that save from their keeper, never mind the chances Ekitike and Mo fluffed. I’m sure they’ll be on the YouTube highlights if you keep an eye out for them. There won’t be many Sunderland chances to show so I guess they should be in the final cut.

In other news, our next run of fixtures is looking winnable. Hopefully we can go into late March/early April with a bit of momentum.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

Jones hasvthe talent to be a starter. Shame he's become Mr Utility. Towards one of the klopp seasons he was scoring regular but injuries have knocked his progress plus a stubborn **** as manager.

      Good hard earned away win.

I think it stems from the fact that Robbo demands the ball in no uncertain terms, whereas Kerkez just expects the ball, so gets overlooked, especially by Gakpo who seems to have a bit of a blindspot in that regard.

Wind it in lad. A difference of opinion is one thing, being a **** is another.
          Really?

That’s a pretty negative view - we scored, had one off the post and put 3 or 4 chances just wide with the keeper well beat. They hardly had any shots and never troubled Ali - there were a couple of long range shots straight at him from distance and put a couple wide that Ali had covered anyway.

We weren’t at our best but I thought the team played well in the circumstances, thought Konate and VVD were both excellent, Robbo was solid and Wirtz also put in a real shift with some moments of genuine class. Ekitike and Gakpo had good spells in the first half but faded badly in the second. Alexis also put in a shift but gave the ball away in dangerous areas a couple of times.

All said, we were away to very physical side who were unbeaten at home, the pitch was a shocker and the weather was awful. Coming off the back off a disappointing home defeat to a rival, it’s easy to see how fans weren’t too optimistic but I think under the circumstances, this was a decent performance and a very good result.

Fair enough, like I say, perhaps it's my mood. I just didn't see any clear cut chances - even Wirtz off the post I wouldn't say was 'clear cut' but I suppose that depends on your definition. I would agree we weren't challenged much, I just wanted to see a bit more creativity up top and I don't think I saw it, but happy that you did. Yes a good win, in the circumstance. I just wasn't inspired enough to believe we have turned a corner. I'm normally pretty positive!

I respect your right to have and share your opinion. Not sure what you’ve read into my post that suggests otherwise. Don’t much like being called a **** though, but I’m no snowflake so you do you.

I haven’t heard “lad” in a few decades either, I’m quite pleased at that

Didn't like the inference you made about the highlights. You were clearly trying to make a point, it landed badly.

Any word on Endo? Seeing the samurai on the green whistle made me cringe knowing how tough he is. He was having a day out too so this really is hard to take.

Slot said "His injury doesn’t look good. I expect him to be out unfortunately for quite a long time."

tbh, he might have played his last for us and, if so it's a shame for him (and us) for his tenure to end like that. Does his contract extend into next season? He's 33, so we kinda have to be realistic about his prospects.

Yeah I read that too but hopefully there’s fresh news this morning. It did not look good though. He was distraught

Yeah given how it looked nd Slot's comments I imagine that's him probably done for the season
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Surprised that VVD has been credited with the goal, it looked like an own goal

Borderline I think, the view from behind I reckon it was hitting the post and going in. Definitely not far wide enough that it was going to miss altogether.
