Milner should have been allowed to break the games appearances record by coming on at Anfield in that game.
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Apparentky the linesman wasn't sure whether it was Gakpo who put the ball in the net, so he checked that first.

Slot’s built his reputation in Feyenoord with one touch football that was about baiting teams to press and getting around it to where gaps existed. This is a perfect example of this but most teams in the PL stand off us now in a low to mid block and go long when they have the ball to avoid our pressing.

It’s partly why we’ve done well in the CL even when we stank in the PL. The other mystery is we are statistically thd best side in the CL when it comes to scoring and defending set pieces and gash in the PL. It might be randomness or maybe tge refs being tougher in Europe which gives me hope Arsenal can’t ****house their way to the CL

To be fair, our set pieces have gotten better in the PL in the last few months. But not sure why exactly that's the case - might be a reversion back to the mean when compared to expected goals and expected goal conceded from set pieces

That is interesting alright but sample size is small considering that the CL is 7 opponents which are kind of picked at random. Imo the CL is a flawed competition until it gets to knockout and although the one big group table is fun, its bull****. The British media wide group wank about Arsenal was way ott and they actually had a load of straight forward fixtures apart from a home win v bayern. Same with us last year with the Madrid game causing a load of people to blow their loads....

Since they sacked the set piece coach it’s been a big turnaround. You wonder what he was doing.

Might just be a coincidence imo. If he was asking them to do some bat**** stuff altogether, then surely he would have been bombed out a lot sooner. I think the form of some of our players has picked up a lot.....konate especially but also Kerkez and to a lesser extent MacAllister and Gravenberch. When we zoom out and look at the season as a whole, then it shouldn't be a surprise that it took our players a long time to get used to each other. Particularly when we had a ****e preseason and a load of injuries.

New coach bounce - tbh as one of the lads said I think we are simply reverting to the mean again
