That was the one I liked to hear about. None of this slowing the game down and letting the opposition reset their defence as soon as we get the ball back. Move it forward quickly and get at them. I’m sure we’ll all be happy to see that type of football again.

SB how do you rate Sonni-Lambie. He doesn’t seem to get the attention Abe gets but seems to be a talent as well.
SL has done brilliant in the 18’s & is their go to man. He’ll most likely move to the 21’s this season & possibly the UEFA Youth League which is a big step up as you know.

The video showing the transition is next level. Never seen anything like that before & disappointing that the WC players aren’t here to adapt to that style.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Got the 14 day free trial on Lfctv so will tune in tonight to see how Iraola has got us set up. Be nice to see some of the youngsters play too.

Yeah I love watching PS matches, normally with a few more of our stars back in training but I’m just keen to get the IR era underway.

Just got my 14 day free trial as well. Feel the same, looking forward to seeing the new style and which young players can hopefully make an impact and show they’re ready to step up this season knowing they’ll likely be given more opportunities now.

It’s been a while since one of these was last posted. Welcome back.

The first starting XI of Andoni Iraola’s Liverpool reign has been named, for the pre-season friendly with Sunderland in Nashville.

Joe Gomez captains the team at GEODIS Park in a Reds side with a blend of youth and experience.

Liverpool: Mamardashvili, Gomez, Jones, Elliott, Tsimikas, Frimpong, McConnell, Morrison, Ngumoha, N’Diaye, Wright.

Subs: Woodman, Davies, Kerkez, Szoboszlai, Chiesa, Abe, Nyoni, Chambers, Ramsay, Scanlon, Koumas, Sonni-Lambie, Ndukwe.

I remember when it came free with Foxtel. I remember watching plenty of the live youth games in the middle of the night.

It was great back in the day when they also had the premier league and A-League on Foxtel. You could watch the A-League in the afternoon and night then it went straight into the games from England. You could watch live football all day.
