He seems like a smart lad, and certainly has a good attitude.Who knows what the future can hold for him. Especially when ridiculous money is being quoted for players like Diomande and Barcola...
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

He comes across as a very focused young guy who I hope is destined for the top.

The Gomez injury highlights the need for us to make defensive signings we need to add at CB and RB, which this underlines
Yes, we need a proper RB plus a backup CB. Added to a dm and rw. Not holding out on much hope of making 4 signings before kickoff.

For me we need another #9 too, no way Isak is playing multiple games a week for at least half the season, there is no other serious forward option and those players make the game so much easier: allow you to ensure you turn pressure into goals when you are on top, and get you a goal from one chance when you are playing ****.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Gakpo and Cheisa can both play as a centre forward. I thought we might sell one and bring in another option, but it looks like Iraola is giving everyone a chance.

We all have our opinions on the likes of Chiesa, Endo and Frimpong.I thought the squad size was fine last year, but was filled with players the manager did not trust, which feels like a bit of a silly situation to be in. No sure Endo really offers that much other than 10 minutes off the bench. Frimpong has almost none of the attributes a modern fullback needs (I fancy him as a winger though. I think he has a decent cross on him). Chiesa just looks too lightweight to lead the line.

Yeah Gakpo, Chiesa followed by Koumas is how I see the pecking order behind Isak as it stands. Koumas could get minutes off the bench & a few cup games until Xmas then if Hugo comes back we could send Koumas out on loan if he’s not getting enough game time.

Up next in exactly 48 hours is Wrexham so what do we know about them? Style of play, strengths & weaknesses? I can’t say I’ve ever watched them play. Iraola said he didn’t expect Jacquet to play until the Leeds match so not surprisingly we’re short at the back again. Ndaiye , Ndukwe & Chambers the only CB’s available looks bleak.

Inside Nashville. I know fans in England don’t rate the PS friendlies in many ways but for so many overseas based fans this is the only opportunity to see our beloved LFC in person. You see the joy on the fans faces & they will never forget this opportunity.
