Think my knees would go weak if I saw that happen to my thumb too, can excuse the stretcher for that one.

Slacker! I had my finger smashed from a door and almost severed when I was 11! Drove me to the hospital holding a tea towel over my hand, blood everywhere, and I was fine the whole way. Still have a manly scar. Chicks would dig it if it was someone elses hand..

I had a garage door handle go up into my knee as a kid whilst jumping on a mini-tramp and dunking a basketball at a mates place. Went right up into my knee as I landed, huge flap of skin lifted off, knee fluid and blood streaming down my leg.....limped home a few streets away and told mum what happened

Yeah, i had my pointing finger sliced off to just above the second knuckle by a hatchet, i have two nails on that finger. Eight stitches if i recall, no oxygen, no stretcher. Like V, the only medical accessory was a tea towel wrapped around it to prevent the car getting all pulp fiction.

So true mate, so true. Total domination & I can see why Juve beat them away. They aren’t bad at home but feeble on the road.

I’m curious to know what formation others saw last night. I’ve seen lots of different formations like 433, 41212, 4222. He’s used this type of system at times this season and it’s been successful and you can see how you could fit both Ekitike and Isak in to it.

Some interesting info on the match and how players were positioned. Look at Salah last night compared to the season in this article.

I'm also curious to know, if we hadn't been hit by injuries to Bradley and Isak, and the loss of Diogo, what formation would we have been utilising now? Was the plan to use Frimpong as a RB, or was he going to be playing the Salah role more with occassional sorties at RB when Bradley needed rotating? Was it going to be a front 2, with Wirtz buzzing around behind them? Wonder if we will ever get to see what Slot's vision was, or will he be gone next year?

I doubt that Jota would have been in the manager's Premier League starting 11 plans enough to affect the formation to be honest. I think Frimpong was bought because of the versatility, but expect that he was bought as RB, you'd think we would have seen signs of a back 5 with wingbacks if it was at all the plan.

I can't imagine we would be confident enough to rely on Bradley to allow Frimpong to play primarily RM. I think he was opportunistic as he could play both positions, but I worry about him as a wide forward, as we need them to be goal scorers (I think, but who knows really)

Frimpong must have been signed as competition for Conor and cover for Mo.

Arne must have envisaged a change in formation because we lost two strikers and a winger, and replaced them with two strikers and a playmaker.

If the plan was for Isak to be central, do we need our widemen to be scorers, or are we more interested in them being providers?

think we will be a 4-4-2 diamond next season - Hugo/ Isak up front and then take yer pick - That fluid with Grav, Slob, Wirz (pick one) would be awesome
I make no apologies, this is me

Fair question. Why did we then give Gakpo a new contract?

I’m just a bit confused right now
