Carra was just talking about it. Slot wanting to bring in Zubimendi, for instance. I have to admit, this is my misgiving about bringing in Xabi. The minimum in the PL is fit, fast, strong and aggressive. You can get a long way with just those attributes. Whether we like it or not, technical and tactical skills - beyond the basic ability to pass and control I mean - are distantly behind; but I suspect with Xabi we just get another version of Slot who elevates this above the minimum required to compete. I imagine I'm wrong, I hope so.
