Sorry, why are we digging out Frimpong after this game? Is that the talking point?

Can someone explain to me not having Isak and Rio on the pitch at the same time, Rio is main creative threat Isak main goalscoring threat, let's have someone who can create chances and no-one to finish them, and then swap and have someone to finish chances but no-one to create them
I know there is a process of managing minutes but at least let the over lap fo a bit FFS.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Because slot is a pussy and was more concerned about losing, and gakpo is more disciplined. Then he just throws anyone on from the bench at the end to look like he’s trying to win.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostCan someone explain to me not having Isak and Rio on the pitch at the same time, Rio is main creative threat Isak main goalscoring threat, let's have someone who can create chances and no-one to finish them, and then swap and have someone to finish chances but no-one to create them

Frimpong AND wirtz both looked the real deal. Just shows how ****e the standard of the German league is, other than a couple of teams.Originally posted by danperkins View Post
we like the idea of him and what he offers with that commitment and desire but yeah he's just nowhere near good enough for the premier league.
We need bigger, stronger, more athletic players. Not stick thin specimens like isak either.
We've spunked the piggy bank on so much crap.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Not so mich league position or CL qualification, more game situation. We went 1-0 up early at home against a Chelsea side who have been ****ing dire, low on confidence , should have been there for the taking not winning from that position is just ****Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostWhy more so than any other? CL qualification is fine. Brighton and Brentford are not catching us so it would just be fluffThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

There is no recognisable style of play and it’s the end of the season and we haven’t seen one all year apart from slow nothing football. What is a typical Liverpool goal? You can watch other teams and see what they’re trying to do and what a team goal looks like but for us it feels like moments of individual brilliance or nothing.Originally posted by Corndog View PostI’ve seen some pretty bad LFC sides in my lifetime with shocking players particularly from a technical standpoint.
This side isn’t one of them, a lot of good enough individual footballers on the field but the lack of movement and the distance between players was atrocious.
Way too many times, the man on the ball had no options except for to turn and play back.
I still don’t understand why nobody supports szobo in the press.
All the good things this team was built on has been taken away for a style that doesn’t suit them or the league.

I actually think it shows how **** the premier league is. Where proper footballers can’t play football and **** houses like Gabriel win you the league.Originally posted by baitman View PostFrimpong AND wirtz both looked the real deal. I agree, it doesn’t look like the players know what the style or tactics are supposed to beOriginally posted by peterbread View PostThere is no recognisable style of play and it’s the end of the season and we haven’t seen one all year apart from slow nothing football. We signed him hoping he could get back to where he was reality of it is he's what we signed, he tries hard and if the ball drops to him in the box he can finish but he contributes little to build up play or creativityOriginally posted by danperkins View Post

Diaz admitted it this season, how make space forwards gets and how much lower the intensity is. 100% we need more physically in our side too yeah.Originally posted by baitman View PostFrimpong AND wirtz both looked the real deal. seems like a lovely fella, tries hard for the few mins he gets but ultimately he has been irrelevant.

But he’s not the messiah, he didn’t actually do much of use either.Originally posted by peterbread View PostNo Liverpool player won more duels (6), made more ball recoveries (5) or completed more take-ons (4) against Chelsea than Rio Ngumoha. He was replaced in the 67th minute.
