I feel sorry for Isak. Two years of being amongst the very top strikers in the league, joins the league champions and then they change style to one that gives him zero service, zero space to work in, in a team that doesn’t look like it gives a ****. He must wish he could undo his big move and try again.

He's not good enough, but I feel sorry for him, because he regularly comes on with 10 mins to go when we need a goal and is somehow expected to make a difference, it's never a tactical change because he can offer something, it's usually a brut force take a off Konate (I know that wasn't case today) and stick him up there approach with no real plan for himOriginally posted by danperkins View Post
seems like a lovely fella, tries hard for the few mins he gets but ultimately he has been irrelevant. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

What touches do we expect our CFs to have? Our midfield pass backwards most of the time, when we slowly get the ball out wide for a cross the defence has them marked out of the game, we don’t get to the touchline for cutbacks, without wirtz there isn’t any intricate play for them to join in with (szobo’s passing in the final third is bad), they’re feeding off scraps. Isak got the same when he came on. And we spent ÂŁ200m on CFs, wtf was the plan ?Originally posted by Fierce View PostJust read that it took Gakpo 40 minutes to have his first touchLast edited by Kenneth; 09-05-26, 03:01 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

this is a fair point imo. It doesn't really seem to matter who plays up top, the wingbacks don't wingback and get balls into the striker/s & there is a complete disconnect between the midfield and forwards & the midfield and defence for that matter. It's a mess.

It’s been similar all season for who ever play upfront.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostWhat touches do we expect our CFs to have? I genuinely forgot he was even playing. It's only once he'd given a foul away in the first half and the commentator said his name that I realised he was actually on the field. Grav didn't think the team deserved to be booed.
I seriously think these players are so soft and so up their own backsides they can't see the wood for the trees. The disconnect between players, manager and fans has never been bigger. We're ****ed. Need to buy some grit and determination from somewhere.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

****ing ****e today - this Chelsea team are so bang average, we should have been out of sight by 20 mins - Slot will (and rightly) get pelters for Rio before that **** dutch fraud called Gakpo, but pretty much most of them today went missing at some point - Missing some backbone in that team - Hughes and Eddy need to sort some **** asap as Brentford at home will be ****ing toxic - I really hope they don't do a lap after BrentfordI make no apologies, this is me
