I think with all the injuries Stevie did a top job keeping u stable in midfield so he gets my vote.

His touch was terrible. I don't dispute that he works hard, but tonight his first touch was dreadful. Crouchie's contribution was much more positive than Kuyt's.Originally posted by MorphorinoDisagree, was definitely one of our better players tonight, was quiet before the first goal, but worked hard as always, and was limited with his passing options, because Crouches movement was poor. His pass for Gerrard was great, his header down for Crouch was unselfish, and he had one or two decent shouts at a goal.

Your having a laugh mate. Crouch was poor. Kuyt wasn't helped by getting given the ball when he had 3-4 PSV players around him. I feel for Dirk at times, he has the quality to set others up but when he gets in good positions his teammates usually let him down.Originally posted by TheElephantManHis touch was terrible. Kuyt and Gerrard were our best.

Finnan.
Never put a foot wrong all game and doesn't get the credit he often deserves.
Life is NOT a journey to the grave with the goal of arriving safely in a prettily preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways in a shower of gravel and party shards, thoroughly used, utterly exhausted, and loudly proclaiming: "F*** ME, that was BRILLIANT!"
