Thanjk you.

9 goals in 40 odd games last season, one season he got 13 with a few in the championship, he got 18 for bournemouth, never got more than ten in jusdt the prem, what shows him as a natural finisher? He lacks the finese of a natural finisher his style is is to hit it as hard as he can towards the goal and hope it hits the target.
I dont care for your statistics, ive seen the lad finish alot of excellent moves with instinctive finishing, dont buy your theory at all
He also doesnt start much, im guessing due to lack of physical presence, which Jol likes.

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

we don't need another bellamy, someone who runs around and does not score...
let's buy a proper striker, we all know the english can't produce quality strikers, Argentina how ever does this on a regular basis, we need Palacio, he's better than the two put together...

Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
There's a Nong Nang Ning
Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
On the Nong Ning Nang
All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
So it's Ning Nang Nong!

I posted on here a few weeks back that I'd heard Bellamy was off to Villa. I see it was in the papers yesterday. There maybe something in these rumours.
Bellamy will improve once he gets this court case out of the way.
Life is NOT a journey to the grave with the goal of arriving safely in a prettily preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways in a shower of gravel and party shards, thoroughly used, utterly exhausted, and loudly proclaiming: "F*** ME, that was BRILLIANT!"

They are both good players.
Id give Bellamy until at the very least the end of the season, I think he has alot of quality as we seen expecially at Blackburn last season, however, that was a different style of play, he was the lead striker there and played more off the shoulders of defenders, although alot of his goals came from playing with defenders and goalkeepers betwwen him and the goal, FACT, which is probably why Rafa liked him so much aswell as his obvious attributes of pace and agression. Its all about systems and mentality for me, if Bellers has the mental strength to adapt to Rafa's system, we will have a very usefull player on our hands, otherwise, id consider replacing him next summer. In what is become a revolving door system at Anfield for strikers.

Is the writer of this article: http://www.fansfc.com/frontpage/fron...?newsid=159875
An est1892 reader?
Compare parts of his article to my last bit about Defoe and Bellamy and then look at the times they were wrote.

Just sell Bellamy and get somebody good enough in. Defoe isn't that player.
Why swap mediocre for mediocre? It gets us nowhere.
Agreed. At the time we signed Bellamy, his and Defoe's records were virtually identical. Neither is good enough but of the 2 I'd prefer Defoe as his is younger and his knees aren't shot to bits, and he doean't have a dodgey temperament.

The thing is that Bellamy is better at creating a mismatch than Defoe. Bellamy also has tons more to his game, he's effective on the wings, can put in a decent cross, never stops working. Sure Defoe is a better finisher but bellamy is the better play for the TEAM. He's definitely the better all round player.
Anyway I think we are fine in the striking department our problem has been creativty and accurate passing from the middle of the park. The wings too to an extent. Once Xabi and Stevie work out how to pass the ball further than 10 yards, we won't be speaking about the strikers anymore.
We're badly off in the striking dept. We have Kuyt and Crouch (who is only good enough for an LFC 4th striker imho, although he is going through a good patch for him). Bellamy isn't good enough and neither is Fowler anymore. We need another 1-2 class finishers badly.
