Not heard much in the way of news about Sissoko, wonder if we're going to have him for the Newcastle match, or are we going to have to settle for Zenden?

What's the latest on Kewell ?

Diddly squat, read an article in LFC mag last week, said he is deffo targeting the Barca match to be back in action. Said he's been running and doing light ball work, that was nearly two weeks ago, so I'd imagine he's stepped it up since then.

Updated with Sissoko's return today, only leaves Kewell and Aurelio due to come back. Not sure what is wrong with Aurelio still, but I imagine he'll be fit for the Barca match if need be and HK is due back around the same time so happy days.

Has a nasty gash on his shin, not expected to keep him sidelined but I would imagine he'll be rested on Saturday, should be a good opportunity for Mascherano to play

well there was a news article the week before last where rafa seemed to indicate that Kewell could be back in around a fortnights time, but he also didn't seem very confident about it.

So basically he could be back any time now, but I think theres issues over his fitness and the injuries he's had, so I think basically he'll be ready when he's ready, which hopefully is very soon.
