It seems to have been touched on in some of the threads that there is a possibility that we could go down the same road as the chavs if this investment happens. Here's my reasons why this will never happen.
1. We have a vast history of success at national and international level, through all this sucess that club has had the degree of class to ensure that we win with grace - as opposed to those ****s.
2. We already have a huge national and international fan base - and so shouldn't attract the degree of johnny come latelys found at some clubs.
3. We have a manager who values the team as much more important than the sum of its parts so we more likely to sign players who fit in with the system than to go for token superstars like Shevchenko and Ballack.
4. DIC will look for a return from their investment. We will not as such be some gangsters play thing that was bought on a whim and could be sold just as quickly.
Its just a gut feeling but I dont think the soul of this club can be bought.
