No. We can get third as best IMO. Chelsea and Man U will drop points but not enough for us to catch them.

Not a chance. If we were chasing just one team then yes they could go to pieces. However there are two and its extremely unlikely. We are just not good enough at present. 3rd is more than realistic. I'd be very happy with 3rd, a trophy, investment sorted, new stadium started, and cash to buy Rafa's first choice signings in the summer.

Yes of course we can.
I remember Newcastle being 16 points clear (same gap as we have) in January and the scum hauled them back. I think Arsenal did a similar comeback in Wenger's first full double winning season. It would take an extraordinary run by us and some unbelievable bad luck for scum and chelsea but I've been around this game long enoug to know that it's never over until the mathematicians say it is.
It won't happen though.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

Newcastle had a donut as a manager whereas the Chavs and United have two of the world's best. They don't lose 16 points leads (soon to be 19 as United are taking City to the cleaners).Originally posted by Red Chilli View PostYes of course we can.

In all honesty if we finish no more than 16 points behind the champions by the end of the season I will be absolutely amazed. If anything the gap will widen....just being a realist based on what I've seen this season.
