can we still win the title

do you think that if we can get the funds in place for jan,and rafa boosts the squad ,we could go on a run and still win league?? or are we already too far off the pace?

Maybe a bit too far but with a bit of luck and a good run we can push for second, if not first with listening to my heart rather then head

Its gone -- and the reason for it was new signings and them not settling in - adding even more would just make it worse

          No!
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

I'd love to think we can but I think it would take an unheard of collapse for both the chavs and the scum for us to win it.

We would also need to be consistently playing about 30-40% better than we have shown all season to put the sort of run together that would get us in with a chance.

Tbh, I think it would take a miracle for us to just finish second this year...

            So, no.

Yes, we have. Manc scum also managed it from 12 points back in January against the geordies in 95/96.

Unfortunately, we did it in the times when you could afford to lose 8-10 games and still win the league. Nowadays you've got no chance as the margins for defeats are so small.

If you lose more than 6 games in a season now, you can forget about the league...

I still feel that if we can have 15 wins on the trot starting from here, we'll be there or thereabouts this season. Manure doesn't have a very large squad, so they're bound to feel the effects of their good start to the season sometime soon. As for Chelsea, they seem to be very very solid even if they aren't playing well.

I'll stand by my prediction that we'll win the league, just for putting one over Shaggy and seeing picts of his wily around mancdester.

If we won every single game left, we'd end up on 91 points.

That was enough to win it last year, and enough to finish second the year before.

                              To answer your question....no!

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."
