Thing is we don't know if he's any good at pens or not do we?
No but we'll only find out if and when he takes one.
Bellamy, Fowler and Gerrard never fill me with confidence when hitting pens.

Garcia is a very clever player and have a good touch. He also seem to be enjoying playing under pressure.
Can't see it. He was not one of the five selected in Istanbul. He never takes free kicks. He's probably more of an instinctive type footballer.
I'd take Peter Crouch if he was on the pitch - or Bellamy.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.
I reckon Kuyt would do a good job, cant see him missing such an easy chance to get his name on the scoresheet. As far as I'm concerned either the captain, or the leading striker should take the pens, and I dont think Stevie should be taking them.
Kuyt should be raring to take them for me, as a striker myself if my team ever get one I'm desperate to take it, get to the ball, stick it on the spot and score before anyone else can argue.
No thanks to Garcia. Rafa didn't pick him in Istanbul for a reason. Shots like that he doesn't seem to hit cleanly. Needs to be a belter. :P
I'd like to see Kuyt given a go. Composed Footballer, hits the ball well and I reckon he'd do a decent job. Not Stevie or Crouch. Stevie misses the easy ones too often and after seeing Crouch's penalty attempts in the past - NO THANKS!
