Who should be taking our penalties?

Okay, I think we will probably be agreement that Gerrard shouldn't be the penalty taker but who should?

I think the options of the players who were on the pitch are - Bellamy, Kuyt, Alonso

We've seen Bellamy and Alonso miss before, haven't seen Kuyt take a penno before, but really Stevie shouldn't take any more penalties.

Garcia is a very clever player and have a good touch. He also seem to be enjoying playing under pressure.

If he was on the pitch, i reckon Agger would take a good pen...his touch and control are good, he seems a very intelligent player, totally composed and his passing looks class too. Obviously can strike a ball too.

I think a peno taker should be able to fool the goalie into going the wrong way, or just watch him and then place it in the other corner.
I know Fowler can do this, and I reckon Garcia can too.

Seeing Gerrard yesterday shows he is no peno taker (again). He clearly opens up his body so that the goalie easily can see that he is going to place it to the right with his instep.

I'm pretty sure Rafa tells a certain player before the game "If we get a pen, it's you" and it varies who it is. He definitely used to do this but maybe he's changed.

What he said, knnow he's young and everything but i think he could handle the pressure, lovely striker of the ball.
