The Sheikh has class also so I can not see that happening. Of course they will want results but they will be realistic with it.

The point is, I don't think one season of these resources is enough to win the title. I'd be very disappointed if we weren't up there, but we have seen this season how hard it can be to bed new players into the side.Originally posted by Poker View PostBut the bottom line being is if Rafa hasnt won the title with resources at his disposal and Mourinho has won it 3 times to the Sheikh he may consider that not to be good enough and would want to get the very best for this club and on winning Titles that would obviously be Mourinho.
Personally for me it would be the death of our great club if he Jose was ever appointed it would go against all the traditions and history of this great club because the man has no class.Thomas Hicks Senior

I did and it made sense to me. Either way, you are being arsey for no reason.Originally posted by DJS View PostI'm not being arsey for the sake of it. Read the post yourself and translate it if you can.
Also, my opinion is I wouldn't be happy if Rafa was replaced with Mourinho.RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFAEL BENITEZ!

I'd agree with all of that, but i think his original question was based on the Sheik thinking one season WOULD (or should) be enough.Originally posted by Morphorino View PostThe point is, I don't think one season of these resources is enough to win the title. We'll if that's case, I'd be more worried about the fella who owns the club rather than who the manger is.Originally posted by DJS View PostI'd agree with all of that, but i think his original question was based on the Sheik thinking one season WOULD (or should) be enough.Thomas Hicks Senior

The bottom line is nobody knows what he's gonna do but I think he would want the best for the club and that might be Rafa or in his mind it might be someone else"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that." Bill Shankly

Which is why we need Parry and Moores to stay on in some sort of advisory capacity, because as much as some people dislike them, they've kept the heart of LFC going.Originally posted by Poker View PostThe bottom line is nobody knows what he's gonna do but I think he would want the best for the club and that might be Rafa or in his mind it might be someone elseThomas Hicks Senior

Yeah, that's a fair concern.Originally posted by Morphorino View PostWe'll if that's case, I'd be more worried about the fella who owns the club rather than who the manger is.
He might, however, be the kinda bloke who is used to instant success, after ploughing so much cash into things.
Hypothetically, if he gave Rafa say £120m to spend next summer, would it not be fair to suggest that we should be coming MIGHTY close to winning the title, if not actually win it next season?
Granted new players usually need time to gel, but if they're that good, you can still win games while they're gelling, as Chelsea did with all those scrappy 1-0s they had when JM first arrived.
I wouldnt be surprised if the top man took that kind of train of thought, and i dont think it'd be wholly unfair of him to do so.

After the handbags, back to the original question which I think was....
"How would you react to Maureen as LFC manager"
My answer - I'd hate it if he carried on as he does at the moment. It would certainly curb my attention to football. LFC doesn't need or (I hope) want such a gob ****eLuck - the only substitute for skill
