Mourinho came in at an opportune time, when Arsenal were looking a bit shakey and Man U we're an the decline. He got his two titles in that space of time, Man U have since brought in new players and solved some of their problems and are giving Chelsea a run for their money now. Arsenal are still trying to recover and I think will have a job trying to do so. But that means there's now 2 teams we've got to usurp to win the title, and both teams are playing very well at the moment.

I agree it will be harder for Rafa at LFC than it was for Mourinho at Chelsea.
However, I don't agree Mourinho came at an opportune time. Arsenal had just gone a whole season undefeated for a start.

The truth is Mourinho is one of the best managers around. Even ignoring his record at Chelsea, his work at Porto shows that. I don't like Chelsea or Mourinho but he is a very good manager, for me on a par with Rafa, Ferguson & Wenger.

however, mourinho is a top class coach as well. People underestimate how good he is because of Chelsea's cash & also because at times he's very arrogant. however, his record at Porto was fantastic, winning the UEFA Cup & CL in successive seasons.

If Rafa was sacked & Mourinho won us the league , then you'd have to say it was the right decision.
I agree, Jose has won 2 back to back titles, if we sack Rafa, appoint Jose and win 2 back to back titles, I won't be losing any sleep.
