we also miss the fowler of old. we've never had a "really good" harry kewell. he had a patch of 2 or 3 months where he was good, not brilliant. to suggest his return would make any difference is serious straw grasping. i have to admire your blind optimism though.

if you're basing your opinion on the man's future based on one game, i could present a case for ditching the whole squad! his vision and passing is much much better than people give him credit for. his definitely not a head down bellamy/cisse type player.Originally posted by Los Rojos View PostIt was Fowler's link up play against PSV which made me realise that he's never going to be ahead of Bellamy, Crouch and Kuyt in the pecking order and will probably make way for a new striker in the summer.

No I'm not basing my opinion on one game, I've been watching him closely all season because I wanted him to succeed. He's still got great vision but physically, he's just not the same player.Originally posted by carheex View Postif you're basing your opinion on the man's future based on one game, i could present a case for ditching the whole squad! his vision and passing is much much better than people give him credit for. his definitely not a head down bellamy/cisse type player.
You're well off the mark classing Bellamy as the same type of player as Cisse. Bellamy is a team player - Cisse isn't.

Cisse always has been and always will be, several classes above bellamy. You must've thought Dalglish was pretty **** then.Originally posted by carheex View Postagain, it depends on what you're basing your opinion on. for me, i'll always judge a striker on the goals he scores and cisse has a far better record.

Well you put cisse "several classes above Bellamy". Whatever attribute you're basing that opinion on, it's a gross exaggeration and in most instances plain wrong.Originally posted by carheex View Postagain, it depends on what you're basing your opinion on. for me, i'll always judge a striker on the goals he scores and cisse has a far better record.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

How the **** am I comparing them? Are you completely retarded? You said "I'll always judge a striker on the goals he scores", so I said you must've thought Dalglish was **** - I'm trying to illustrate the point that goals are not the only thing to judge a player by, or is that too ****ing difficult for you to get into your turdbox of a head? ****ting Christ, I give up.Originally posted by carheex View Postand YOU must be comparing bellamy with dalglish?!?! be sensible.Like blood on iron

On a completely unrelated topic, I came up with a new name for my most hated Chavski defender the other day:
Retardo Carvallho
