Yes but Cisse rarely failed to miss the keeper, I extrapalated my conclusion from previous outcomes, which is fair assesment and there is enough evidence of Cisse not being a compossed finisher as needed. If you really believe Cisse is a better player than Bellamy, I pity you eyes.

this is isnt a go at people who dont go to the games but if anyone watched cisse for a game live i would be surprised if anyone would want him to stay.

if bellamy plays, but doesn't score, most games, he'll play well for the team and create chances

if cisse played, and didn't score, it was like playing with 10 men.

Me too. My only problem, thus far, has been that Bellamy has also been poo.

Encouragement at Wigan, but more of the same poo against Fulham.

Time will tell but I wish we had someone much better than Cisse and much better than Bellamy.

One thing i even forget to mention.....just howmany times a game did cisse get called offside? I know bellamy does as well....but most of those times he is on, just todamn quick!!

there is potential in bellamy though.....**** all potential in Cisse.

I think Bellamy was by far the best money can buy option. but I dont see him as the answer -but for that we probably need 20million+

In fairness to the French sprinter, he was also incorrectly called offside all the bloody time. They have the same problem, but, infuriatingly, neither seem to be able to get it into their thick heads to just hang back a yard or two.

Agreed that Bellamy works much harder than Cisse and is an asset in that sense. However, he doesn't score any goals...which isn't ideal for a striker.

I see this too.....presuming you mean by 'he'll play well for the team' that he works hard. Because he does, always, but that doesn't always constitute actually playing well. Working hard should be a gimme...they should always be working hard. I realise Cisse didn't but that's why he's gone. I want to see Bellamy scoring goals and creating goals but so far he hasn't done that very much at all.

Regardless of whether our current crop are good enough or not, one thing remains clear; we still lack a consistent goalscorer.

The likes of Kuyt, Crouch and Bellamy are all complementary forwards. They all have different styles and strengths. But how many of them are likely to get 20 plus goals a season?

If the Arabs do take over I can see Rafa targetting a David Villa, or something of that ilk. It's a definite need for us.
