Sevilla fullback Daniel Alves has revealed he was set to join Real Madrid in the summer to replace Cicinho.

be gutted if he ended up at another club and with Cincinho being linked with a move away in Jan this could be a problem if they want Alves to replace him! Rafa obviously rates him very highly, hopefully we will get him next summer.

Slighty unfair.
If we applied the same rule to everyone then carragher wouldnt be at the club. Early days he did not look like a world beater (except for his 2 against villa)
And as Rafa always says its the team not the individual. Real had a "team" of supestars and look what it done for them

Give the lad a chance. There have been a lot of players Alonso included who haven't looked great this season.
