Why should he? That's probably my favourite interview I've seen from an LFC player....aside from most of Carra's, of course. Xabi gives a grand interview too, but I really like Agger's style.

It makes a change from the sterotypically robotic answers footballers usually proffer, I'll say that much.

I did find a tad strange that Agger couldn't give the simplest response to the simplest question, but nonetheless, it made me chuckle and it was ten times more interesting than hearing Rafa say 'we must think about the next game'.

I've given up reading Rafa interviews.

Personally I am not bothered but a lot off kids like this stuff and the club pays the players a **** load off money. So the least they could do is give a bit of an interview. Bit like players ignoring young kids looking for autographs, it annoys the **** out of me.

Well, by the same token, I like Rafa's style too. Why should he run his gob off about all manner of things, like that tool with the Matalan coat does? I know what I'd rather. I'm glad he gives little or nothing away. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I also think you're being a touch unfair with Rafa anyway - he does come out with the odd, unexpected beauty....such as the remark he made last summer about cricket.

Finally I don't blame Agger at all for not "giving the simplest response to the simplest question" - if he wants to keep everything completely private, good on him I say.
