That's the key thing mate, our priority must be to go into the 2nd leg with the tie still in the balance.

We HAVE to stay in it during the 1st leg and if we do, we'll have a decent shout.

I'd be over the moon if we beat them

More than quietly Syd, didn't you see the quotes from Guily before the draw ?

And a poll was run in the biggest local newspaper in Barcelona, qe were the side the fans wanted most, with 29% of the vote...

They'll fancy their chances, big time, which will play into our hands, I think.

Should know by lunchtime - we've booked Monday to Thursday anyway.

I'd rather have gerrard in there going forward with the ball and coming back to handle him.

Carra can give him a good kick in the early stages to put the ****e up him. The Barca players will go down easily so we may as well give the a reason to.

If they fancy their chances 'big time' then they're more stupid than i thought.

I'm not going all out saying we'll progress, but it'll be a close contest.

We're hard to beat in Europe and if they dismiss the impact of Anfield then they're complete idiots.

I dont believe they are TBH mate.

God I hope we have another one of those magical Anfield nights in the second leg!! We can do this. Come on you REDS!!!

I think it's asking a bit much of Gerrard to do his usual attacking stuff, and then just drop back from time to time to stop Ronaldinho.

It's a full time job neutralising players like that. Stevie's main work will need to be done in the attacking third.

                  IMHO of course.

I think we've got a chance, a big chance. Of course.

But they won it last year, Messi and Eto'o will be back, make no mistake about it, they're massive favourites and all their players will be overflowing with confidence.

If we can nick a 0-0 or even a 2-1 defeat at the Camp Nou, you never know....

I kind of whish the match at Anfield was the 1st leg.

Personnally I think this is a good draw for us.

We won't be assuming anything on this one

If he gets stuck out on the right he will be up and down all game.

I am assuming that we play a 4-4-2 of course, which i doubt we will. More like a 4-5-1/4-3-3.

I think we should have Warnock man mark Ronaldinho, just so he can chop him.

We also do well against the big European teams.

IF we don't get stitched up by the ref in Barce AND they're slightly off their best, I think we'll muller them at Anfield.

It's an exciting draw, a compelling draw a fascinating draw....

                              It's not a 'good' draw.

                                Will Eto'o definitely be back?

The only problem with 2nd leg at home, is that IF it goes to extra time, it gives the away side an extra half hour to score what would surely be a crucial away goal. That really isnt fair IMO.

I think 0-0 in Nou Camp might be a bit optimistic mate. We'll need to find a goal out there i reckon. 2-1 would do. Cant see us shutting them out on their own patch TBH.
