Bellamy is better than Cisse and Baros but he will just like them have to play good against the best teams.

We will never win the league if we our strikers doesn't come up big against the teams we more or less never beat.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Not that many times, but he has done it, a part of the reason is that the rest of the team hasn't been good enough. Gerrard can't do everything himself. He need the strikers to put away the chances he creates.

              Well said Rhods.

He could score a hatrick in the Nou Camp in February and you know that two or three posters will still come on here and say he's crap

I wouldn't be too sure, he thinks Robbie is undoubtedly the best striker at the club.

If Bellamy scores three against Barcelona then he is good enough. What we have been missing a long time is a striker who can win us games against the best teams.

If we had better strikers then we would be favourites against Barcelona.

They have Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Messi, Gudjohnsen and Saviola and we have Kuyt, Bellamy, Crouch and Fowler.

Excuse my language but I think that is bollocks. It is not that often in the games betweeb the big teams that the "star" strikers decide the games.

Quite often in fact it is midfielders that score in these games. Your other point about Gerrard not shining in these games is also bollocks. If he was created so many chances for the forwards then people would still be raving over his performance but they are not. He can be quiet in these games and that was the point.
