Not a bad price for a player like him. If we don`t pay him to much a week we can just sell him in a years time.

You can be sure He'll request Higher wages as he's coming on a cute rate price.

He`ll get a higher wage than he, probably, has in B`burn.
The thing we need to avoid is paying him so much he`ll "never" live, as we did (do) with Cheyrou and Diao.

Neill's not that type of person.

I'm sure he'll be looking for a minimum 4 year contract at £35k+ a week.

Not at his age he won't be. 4 years is very unrealistic, surely?

He'll class himself as a free agent, so his demands will be pretty steep.

Maybe he'll end up with a 3 year deal.

Around 3 years seems right to me. This is in January though so is that 2 and a half years or 3 and a half?

                    Dunno

We gave Zenden a 3 year deal and he's on the old side.

                      The omens are good then

Actually just looked up Neill's age and he's younger than I thought - 3 and a half years might well be what he gets. No idea on the wages front, but as you say with players coming towards the end of contracts wages tend to be higher than usual. I'm going to guess the fee will be under a million

Have you seen him play, or heard good things about him?

This is a good signings, and the Aussie is very practical to our current needs at the moment

Not going to make us a title winner, but adds to a future title winning squad.
                          We need better attacking players!

I watched Insua w/the u20s world cup winning team. He seemed pretty good.

BTW He was 17 at the time

Insua will probably be Rafa's first choice left back in a years time or so. He is that good, at least if you believe the rumours from people who have seen him.

Milan, Barca, Real and Inter wanted him but we got him.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He'll start for us next year. Bank on it.
