Actually Aurelio wasnt free. He had signed a pre contract with a Uruguyan club prior to us. We had to pay a nominal fee to the Uruguayan club to release him.

Zenden was bought primarily as cover. As for Aurelio, he's impressed me from the first day and he's better than JAR in that position. Point is, he's still trying to come to terms to the premier league and to be fair to him, he's not been awful since he came. Barring one game, where he had a defensive nightmare against Gala at home, he's been a decent player for us. His passing is very good and he has a terrific left foot.
